Mathematician is not equal to abstract!

Generosity shares almond chocolate at the weekend party,
Dressed in sweet smiles,
Saying you are welcome!

Chocolate

So mathematics students can also be imaginative. Generosity not only means "the habit of giving without expecting anything in return" but also has five senses: it is the almond chocolate that can be eat, it is a sweet smile that can be seen and it is "you are welcom" that can be heard!

Cooking Your Thoughts: strangers

Several days before, I went to Emory by myself. Because I was in a hurry, I didn't search the route before starting, nor did I find out where to take the bus. Even worse, I didn't bring my cellphone... Anyway, I started!

I asked many strangers and all of them were so kind! They said softly :"I'm sorry, I don't know where to take Emory Shuttle either. But wait a minute, I can call my friend and he may know the answer." They smiled and talked with me during the bus trip. They took out their cellphones and searched the route for me and even drew a picture for fear that I might miss the road. One stranger even offered me a ride! I was totally moved at that time! The strangers made me feel so warm in this strange city!

  1. Dear Summer, I am smiling really big as I look at this 3-lined poem that you created as a result of our "blogstorming." I love how you succeeded in using 3 senses: taste, hearing, and seeing (with help of the photo). Touch is almost evoked too!

In addition, I really appreciate how your title adds dimensionality to this piece of writing.
